Miss A came into our studio during a transformative period of her life. After leaving a bad relationship, she was ready to find herself again.
We are so happy she chose us to help her on this new path of self love! We asked her to share some words about her session and this is what she said:
How did you hear about us?
Facebook and friends who had done shoots.
What were your reasons for wanting to do a boudoir session?
I had just left a very emotionally and mentally-abusive relationship. I knew I needed something that would help me find myself as a woman who had been through a lot over the past 12 years. I had been on the fence for so long, but I am so glad I waited and did it when I most needed it.
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
I was nervous but excited. I was very anxious to get to the studio and get my hair and makeup done because I knew it would help me get into the right mindset. Even if I hadn’t know Xena before she is so sweet and is an amazing makeup artist.
What were your first impressions arriving at our studio?
It was very welcoming and calm. My name on the board outside made it feel even more at ease.
How did you feel about your hair and makeup?
Once again Xena is phenomenal at her art and she has such a sweet soul. The end result was gorgeous and I received so many compliments after I left.
What were your thoughts DURING your session?
Once Crystal went through my wardrobe all of the nerves went away. The vibe in the studio with just Crystal and I was something I never expected but so integral in the whole process and experience. Her ability to just look at lingerie on a hanger and then be able to plan your shoot is exceptional. I have never in my life felt so beautiful and confident as I did during my session.
How did you feel after leaving the studio?
I was on cloud 9. I felt beautiful, confident, unstoppable and encouraged.
What was your favorite product offered at your viewing session? What did you purchase?
I’m excited about them all but my favorite is the photo I chose for my wall art. It’s sexy but not revealing and I felt like such a bad ass.
If you could tell someone considering booking a boudoir session anything, what would it be?
Go for it. Don’t wait for your body to be a certain size or look a certain way. The whole experience is so freeing from all the negative thoughts that life and society can flood our minds with. And don’t do this for anyone but yourself because it will heal parts of you that you may not know are even broken.
